A trilateral meeting was held between the delegations of the Ministries of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.
Director of the Agricultural Research Center Firdovsi Fikratzade, Director of State Agro Trade Company Leyla Mammadova and Director of Procurement and Supply Department of the Company Rashad Karimov attended the meeting organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation in various fields of agriculture, as well as the work done to protect and develop small and medium-sized farmers in all three countries. During the discussions, sides agreed to conduct joint research to develop small and medium-sized farms in the future and joint use of successful experience gained in each country in this area.
It was noted that, along with other areas, there is a high level of cooperation in the agro sector between these countries. It was noted that such meetings play an important role in the exchange of experience and application of innovations for further development of the agricultural sector in all three countries.
During the visit, the delegation also met with Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli.
